We are delighted with this colt and at this stage we are intending to keep him with a view to him being started undersaddle and competed on before standing at stud in the future. Ryan has wonderful movement and an amazing laidback temperament. He has now gone a lovely near black colour just like his sire.
Naming him was rather hard, after all if he is to be a stallion in the future his name will be rather important, but we finally came up with Glenryan - the "glen" being Celtic for a river valley (he was born in the amazing Lees Valley) and the "ryan" being his paddock name after his dam Banrion's owners, Anne and the late Thady Ryan. We think that it is a great name which embodies his Irishness, his Kiwi birthplace and the Ryan's who were so instrumental in bringing Irish horses to New Zealand.

Another lovely colt out of that great mare Noumea, we couldn't be happier with Jack. He is a very nice type with great conformation, movement and temperament and reminds us so much of his great brother C.Coaltown. Jack will be retained as a future hack for Georgia.

Mindy is a lovely mare and being 3/4 Irish Draught she will be retained by us for future breeding up to 7/8 Irish Draught. Mindy is a very nice type with outstanding movement and will be started under saddle shortly. We are planning a compeitiive career for her before going to stud later on.
